Russ began writing PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) code and designing machinery control systems for bespoke applications in 1998 – Competent with Mitsubishi & Siemens (OEM Certification S7 & TIA) he has also undertaken projects with Omron, Schnieder (Klockner-Moeller & Modicon) ABB and Allen Bradley systems.

 

Along with PLC design – Russ also designs HMI (Human Machine Interface) & SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Screens – adding abilities for operator control and/or production information display (Including alarms) – he holds certification for WinnCC (Siemens) applications

 

VFD / VSD – Variable Frequency Drive / Variable Speed Drive. Motor control and management is now becoming more important and simpler to integrate -

Being electrically qualified & working with high current DC & AC systems (inc 3 Phase) RPEME are comfortable and competent working with specifying, installing and fault-finding drives from many OEM's.

 

Adding VFD control can significantly reduce motor running costs – ask for details.

 

With years of “on-site” experience puts Russ at a great advantage with having witnessed the evolution of control systems (Including machinery & process safety) over the past 30 years.
